Tilman Ludwig

When the craftbeer wave finally arrived in Germany, Tilman was ready to go. With a graduation as brewer, practical experience in various breweries and especially lots of ideas, he started his own business. What seemed to be a mad challenge – especially in a Munich, where beer is part of the cultural property, turned out to work out just great. Before even taking the first sip of one of one of Tilmans Biere, you can tell you hold something special in your hands as each label is designed by a different artist. The beers itself are a very own interpretation of classics, which are enjoyed by a gradually growing number of people.

Kristof Grote

By coincidence Kristof had the chance to take over a frame shop. It was no difficult decision for him to take a step back from his 9 to 5 job to start this new chapter. But he did not want to simply continue the running business. So additionally to the daily business, the idea of “le cadre” is to use the shop as a space to grow a community of people who are interested in art. Hence regularly exhibitions are organized, giving less known artists the chance to show their work. After the first exhibitions with numerous guests and interesting talks, the shop truely is now a meeting point for people from the neighbourhood and beyond.
